Valentine's Day is coming and I am sure many people are already thinking of valentine gifts to express their affection to the people they love: whether it be their parents, wife, husband or simply significant others. Why not send them a gift? It could range from shorts, perfume , custom coffee mugs, spa robes, or personalized items with names, a special Bible verse or even photos!
I remembered one of my good friends when we were in college. He asked the permission of our superiors in the dormitory because it was Valentine's Day, the same day of the birthday of his mother. And whoa, he had a very big bouquet of flowers for her dear mother. Interestingly, he got the nod of our superiors and I was lucky to accompany him. Her mother was so touched by her son's gesture.
If you have shown someone how you love them last Christmas, the Valentine's Day is another day of the year when you could show them how much you truly care for them. Seasons like these are special occasions where the hearts and attentions of people are so vulnerable, they could appreciate every little bit of affection and flowers from loved ones who really matter. Hamilton Wright Mabie beautifully puts it, "blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love."
Valentine's Day is still very far. Plan ahead and make your loved ones happy.
